Real Estate Tip #4 Political Views

Could your political views or unique hobbies hinder your home sale?

Your political posters are completely fine when you’re LIVING in your home, but when you’re looking to sell, you may want to tuck them away.

When potential buyers are on the opposite side of the political aisle, you could potentially lose a sale.

If your family is anything like mine, you may create a “neutral zone” during gatherings. And that means no talking politics.

It allows us to get together and really enjoy each other’s company without any tension. And that’s exactly what you want to do for buyers when they enter your home, you want to create that neutral zone.

You may love your Donald Duck-themed master bedroom. However, this may not appeal to most buyers. And even though you and your views may not come with the house, many buyers can be turned off by your decor, or your political opinions. And they may decide on another house.

Appeal to the most buyers by making your home a neutral zone.
